Cindy's art appears regularly in downtown Eau Gallie at the Alla Prima Salon & Gallery on Highland Avenue. Karen Lewis, owner, welcomes you in to browse, make a purchase or have your hair cut! She is closed on Tuesdays.

On Hwy 105 in Foscoe, North Carolina, Nine Lives carries Cindy’s work in silverpoint. An age-old technique executed with silver on a prepared surface, silverpoint is rarely done these days due to the time involved. Her series features local landmarks of the area.

UPCOMING EVENTS
Oct 29 - Dec 2 Melbourne Beach Library – This will be the final stop of the “Friends & Faux” collection of paintings! One last opportunity to enjoy copies of well known favorites by Van Gogh, Gauguin, Cassett, Benson and many others. Several of these paintings have found new homes so the Pieces of Eight will not be showing them together again. PAST EVENTS
Sept The trip to Spring Island in early September was all a painter could ask for: great views, great companions and great wine! See my “On the Easel” for some snaps of painting outdoors…for the first time I actually enjoyed completing a piece en plein air. Look for more work to come of this trip, the marshes were gorgeous as were the old oaks and low country surrounds.

“If you wish to learn more about art, a technique, a medium or its support, go to show openings and ask questions. Creating art is such a solitary activity that an artist usually jumps at the chance to talk about a piece. In fact, with just a nudge, an artist will probably tell more than you really wanted to know!”
