Taking a plein air workshop in beautiful Bucks County, PA was full of real treats. Not the least of which was coming home with some beautiful rural scenes to paint. This was done on canson paper, a bumpy (orange in this case) surface that I usually try to avoid. Alas, a pile of it has convinced me to use it up while trying some experimentation. Note that not all the surface is covered with pastel...the orange is creeping through....a good thing if I can work with it, but a real challenge most of the time.
