Colored water started as an experimental panel in a workshop with Fran Hardy. Each segmented area was a playground for different textures and treatments of the support. It was only for fun since we had our "real" panels behind us. The lilies are drawn in pencil but the different grounds received it differently. And as often happens, play turned into pleasure and I thoroughly enjoyed mixing the styles. My husband encouraged me to complete the test panel so he could hang it in his office. (Maybe one of his clients will want to add it to their portfolio!!)
