The Stones Speak is the result of a collaborative effort by poet Fay Picardi of Grant, FL and artist Cindy Michaud to chronicle their thoughts, experiences and creative imaginings related to stone. The exhibition opened at the Avery County Arts Council in Linville, NC with both paintings and poetry hung on the wall. First published two years ago, Cindy's book on painting life's lessons sold out to women eager to share it with their friends. As requests for more came in, Cindy worked with Burnt Umber Press to revise the book and make it available again.
